About the Role
The opportunity
A fantastic opportunity is now available for an experienced Civil/ Stormwater Engineer to join our team.
The role is autonomous and includes civil and stormwater design and AUTOCAD drafting of your own projects.
This role is ideally suited to a degree qualified Civil Engineer with experience in a consultancy background with experience with Autocad and design calculation, stormwater analysis and modelling of residential and industrial buildings and civil structures.
You will be required to design and draft your own Civil projects, with the mentorship of senior engineers.
Experience with Civil/ Stormwater design will be highly regarded.
A company car will be provided as a part of the role.
Requirements
Responsibilities
Prepare calculation reports and excel spreadsheet for stormwater systems, including detention tanks, infiltration pits, eaves gutter design, box gutters, pits and pump out systems.
Understanding and experience of Australian Standards and the BCA.
Perform Civil design drafting utilising autocad. (essential)
Perform site inspections and design and issue of design rectification reports.
Assist the team with all analytical aspects on projects.
Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all technical aspects.
Requirements
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Civil Engineer within a Consulting Engineering Firm
Civil Design Experience will be highly regarded
Local experience

A disciplined, technical mind
Ability to travel interstate as required
