STRUCTABILITY is a family operated consulting engineering firm that provides assistance to owners’ corporations and strata managers for building defects including water ingress issues, concrete cancer, façade defects and magnesite removal.

 

Structability is often tasked with identifying the cause of damage, preparing tender documents that are issued to 3-4 qualified building contractors and finally, performing the role of Superintendent during the construction stage.

Throughout construction stage, the role of Superintendent is to attend site and inspect the remedial works at crucial stages through to practical completion.

This includes Contract Administration (including any paperwork, quotes, contracts etc. that are involved); ensuring compliance with quality, inspections and warranty requirements; verifying repair quantities if accurate quantities are unavailable at tender; certifying contractor claims for payment and calculating retentions - issuing you with a Practical Completion Certificate when the works are completed. In simple terms, the role of Superintendent is to monitor the quality and cost of the project to ensure a favourable outcome for the Owners’ Corporation.
